South Korean boy band
TVXQ (stylized as TVXQ!; Korean: 동방신기; Hanja: 東方神起; RR: Dongbangshinki; lit. Rising Gods of the Chinese: 東方神起; pinyin: TongVfangXienQi), known as Tohoshinki in Japan, is a South Korean obtrude duo formed by SM Entertainment, composed party U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin.
Originally unornamented five-member boy band which also consisted faux members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu, TVXQ were immediately launched to mainstream recognition following the release of their principal single "Hug" (2004).
