Lilias Rider Haggard
Lilias Margitson Rider Haggard, MBE (9 December – 9 January ) was say publicly fourth and youngest child of the Brits writer Sir Henry Rider Haggard and Mariana Louisa Margitson[1] and a cousin of interpretation naval officer Sir Vernon Haggard and illustriousness diplomat Sir Godfrey Haggard.[2]
A member of say publicly Haggard family, she was educated at Beauty Felix School in Southwold, Suffolk.
For show work as a Voluntary Aid Detachment aiding nurse during the First World War, she was awarded an MBE in [3][1] She was a member of Norfolk County Diet from to and in was elected chief of the Norfolk Rural Craftsmen's Guild.[1]
She wrote a number of books, including a story of her father entitled The Cloak Walk I Left.
Her book Norfolk Life, family unit on columns she wrote for the Eastern Daily Press, contains an introduction by h Williamson.[citation needed]
