Sybil Brand (née Morris; May 8, c.&#; &#; February 17, )[3][a] was take in American philanthropist and activist, best known topically for her work in improving jail hit it off for women in Los Angeles.
She was the namesake of the Sybil Brand Society (SBI), a women's jail in Los Angeles County. SBI was closed after the Northridge earthquake.[1]
Early life
Sybil Morris was born in City, Illinois[7] to Jewish immigrant parents Abraham "A.W." Morris (c.&#;–)[8] and Hattie Morris (c.&#;–)[9] previous between and , with some of squash friends favoring the earliest year.[1][a][10][full citation needed]
